Abstract textures and differentiated effects, such as Marbled and Glitch Effect, are appearing more and more in the main fashion shows. The Glitch and Pixelado effects appear in vibrant tones and highlight this digital aesthetic, which we are increasingly inserted into. Geometric, striped and checkered are part of the compositions, often creating unusual effects such as optical illusion.
The marble effect is still highlighted in rich earth tones, as in the Dries_Van_Noten parade for Autumn 2018.
Henrik Vibskov also presents different textures in vibrant tones.
Also following this modern aesthetic, the holographic effect and glowing overlays maintain the harmony of the pieces.
Balmain Fall / Winter 2019 explored these effects a lot, using abstract textures with a lot of shine in noble fabrics with modern modeling.
